Notes from Suzhou

We spent a week in Suzhou and Hainan meeting municipal partners and our WangRong counterparts. A few short observations from the trip, unpolished on purpose.

The pace of decision-making on the government side was faster than we expected, provided the ask was specific. Vague partnership proposals went nowhere; a concrete ask tied to a named hospital site or a named import lane moved within days.

We came back with two workstreams in motion and a clearer sense of which of our sectors travel well across the relationship and which do not.
